BYD's latest EV platform integrates the motor, transmission, and power electronics into a single 8-in-1 unit. This improves efficiency, reduces weight, and enables 800V charging architecture for ultra-fast charging speeds.
BYD's 5th generation plug-in hybrid technology operates in "electric-first" mode, using the petrol engine only when needed. The system achieves remarkable efficiency with up to 1,500 km total range while offering 70-100 km of pure electric driving for daily commutes.
