BYD Technology

Blade Battery

BYD's revolutionary Blade Battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry in a cell-to-pack design. It's one of the safest EV batteries available, passing the nail penetration test without catching fire. The Blade Battery also offers excellent longevity and works well in cold weather.

e-Platform 3.0

BYD's latest EV platform integrates the motor, transmission, and power electronics into a single 8-in-1 unit. This improves efficiency, reduces weight, and enables 800V charging architecture for ultra-fast charging speeds.

Super DM-i

BYD's 5th generation plug-in hybrid technology operates in "electric-first" mode, using the petrol engine only when needed. The system achieves remarkable efficiency with up to 1,500 km total range while offering 70-100 km of pure electric driving for daily commutes.
